13 Year old Tom Hogan from
County
Tipperary
is the latest player to attend a one week training camp with the RIBSA National coach P.J. Nolan in Carlow.
Tom is the current Irish number NO.1 U-14 player, Tom won every U-14 event last season, when he won the 5 RIBSA ranking events plus the National championships.
Tom trained from the 18th – 23rd August in the Ivy Rooms, and he will then captain the Republic of Ireland team on Saturday in the annual North V
South challenge in Carlow.
Tom has already broken a lot of the Under 14 records in the PJ Nolan academy of champions and feels his confidence is beginning to come back like it was during the season.

Declan Brennan finished off his training camp in Carlow with a big thank you to his new coach when he won the Ivy Rooms under 19 open. In the final he beat fellow member of the
academy of champions’ star David Cassidy from
Cork
3 frames to 1 in a superb final. The 15 year old snooker star from Newry in
Northern Ireland
made a string of breaks through out the day and had breaks of 87 and 110 clearance in the final.

World Trick Shot Champion Bogdan was in Waterford, Ireland over the weekend and "The Magician" popped Waterford's new club for a flying visit. Bogdan was over visiting a friend and local promoter before coming back

15 year old Northern Ireland snooker star Declan Brennan from Newry who is regarded as one of the best junior snooker players in the world has just announced he will attend a one week training camp with PJ Nolan in Carlow.
Declan is the latest player from outside the Republic of Ireland who has contacted PJ to train in the new RIBSA training Academy of Champions. The youngster will begin his training camp in Carlow from the 28th July to

Wales won the Celtic Challenge at the weekend beating Ireland 72-48 after a long days play at the Morriston Snooker Club in Swansea. Even though Ireland's Senior players won their match up our juniors and
over-40's unfortunately lost out on the day.
