The second training day was held this Sunday for the RIBSA under 14 teams in the ivy rooms snooker club Carlow.
Sixteen players from all-round the country were selected by PJ Nolan the national coach to compete in the International Under 14 tournament against teams from Northern Ireland and Wales in Carlow on the 5th & 6th July.
RIBSA would like to thank Marion Leacy and staff for all thier help and excellent playing facilities on both training Days.
ACADEMY OF CHAMPIONS TRAINING PROGRAM
The 16 players last Sunday received their training program and today they brought their training workbooks back to receive their current ranking and receive feedback from PJ on their progress.
Aaron Tobin, Josh Boileau and Glen Doyle were ranked top three from their weeks practice and the same three players top the ranking from today’s training session.

Both teams played excellent and their training and preparation is on track to perform at their best in the event in July.
Josh Boileau was named captain of the A team and Michael Hennessy was named the captain of the B team and both players hope their team can win the event. PJ was impressed with the player’s attitudes and hard work they done in the first week.
The development of this team is very important to me as the national coach to help bring players through to the home international teams of the future.
