Our
Membership Explained |

Unlike many
National Sporting Body's
such as the GAA and FAI who
count all local players as
members due to them
affiliating to their local
clubs RIBSA don't do this
and can only count on
Nationally Competitive
players as members when they
pay their affiliation
fee. This leaves us in
a weak position when looking
for additional funds from
the Irish Sports Council
when applying for funds to
help promote the sport
further. |
RIBSA
thus is counted in the
lower category of sports
with less than 1000
members even though 10's
of thousands of people across
the country play the game
regularly in their local
clubs. This is what we are
trying to address this
season giving local non competitive
players a chance to join
RIBSA for a nominal fee
and receive regular news
(Cue Scene) and free entry
into competitions for
snooker gifts and exhibition
tickets. |
RIBSA
thus, this season will
have a four tier membership
structure instead of one. You
can print out the
registration forms below,
there are three forms on
each page when printed so
why not try get a couple
of associate members
signed up and post or fax
all three in. |
1. Full
Membership - Only €15
Print

This is for Nationally Completive
members over the age of 16 who
aim to compete nationally in any
of our ranking series. The fee
has risen from €10 to €15
but players will all receive a
copy's of the Cue Scene Magazine
which we will be bringing back
this season.
2. Junior
Membership - Only €10

Same as above but the fee for
Under-16 players will remain at
€10
3. Family
Membership - €25
Print
Form
This will be available to
members of immediate family only.
This will be available for 2-4
members of any one family living
at the same address. If only 2
want to join then why not add 2
extra family members to the
membership form and enable them to
win in any draws that we will be
having this season. 2 copies of
cue scene will be posted to the
named address.

Membership - Only €5

membership allows you to

Event per season without
paying the full membership
fee. If you decide to
compete fully just pay the
extra €10 fee to become
a full member. |
