We have a number of qualified RIBSA / NCTC snooker Coaches at the moment who are actively coaching in clubs around the country.

We will endeavor to add more and more information regarding coaching to this section over the coming months and we are planning to hold coaching courses over the next few months.

Our main two coaches are however National Coach PJ Nolan who has just been appointed full time national coach / development officer and is now available for any club or individual to book a coaching day and anyone interested should contact Paula in sport HQ

We also have newly qualified European Coach Peter Troy and Peter will be hosting coaching sessions in Carlow at all Under 14 Ranking tournaments in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club.

PJ Nolan starting coaching in Ireland before taking up a post of National Coach of Qatar and had been working in the Gulf for the last 4 years doing some tremendous work with one of the most ambitious snooker countries who have one of the best training facilities in the World at the moment. 

In February 2008 PJ has been appointed full time position as National coach / development officer of RIBSA and his target is to help produce the stars of the future along with training club coaches around the country to bring the game to the next level.
